Ts Soeraya Satem Ahmad

Currently serving as the Senior Vice President at the Bioeconomy Corporation, Soeraya heads the Industry Development Division. Alongside her team, she focuses on fostering the growth of innovative bio-based companies and technologies in Malaysia.

Prior to her current role, Soeraya worked at the Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC), where she provided advisory to over 200 technology-based companies and facilitated strategic partnerships with local and international entities, driving business growth for MTDC. In addition to her corporate background, Soeraya founded The Cucurbits Company Sdn Bhd in 2009, which specialises in supercritical fluid technology and supplied innovative ingredients to the cosmeceutical industry across Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and New Zealand.

Recognised for her expertise and dedication, she earned the Professional Technologist (Ts) certificate from the Malaysia Board of Technologists in 2022.
